| Study the regulations and policies related to foreign economic affairs; analyze and formulate plans and policies for introducing foreign investment into GETDD, GHIDZ and GEPZ; formulate and implement plans for utilizing foreign funds; draw up rules, regulations and management mechanism for inviting investment; provide guidance, management and coordination over the projects introduced by the various units of GETDD, GHIDZ and GEPZ; examine and approve foreign investment projects; examine and verify awards for the invitation of foreign investment.
